After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Robert C. Leclerc Jr., 74, passed away on January 23rd, 2025 at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH, with his family by his side. Bob was born in Berlin, NH on January 9th, 1951, son of Robert C. Leclerc Sr. and Alice (Hynes) Leclerc. He graduated from St. Pat’s School, Notre Dame High School (1969), and Wentworth Institute in Boston. Bob was self-employed as a steel detailer for most of his career, operating Highland Technical Services, and was a resident of Randolph, NH for 48 years.
Bob was a kind, loving, and devoted husband, father, and father-in-law. His family always came first. Bob cherished the times spent kayaking and camping with his daughter. He spoke often of his last hike through Icy Gulch in Randolph with his daughter and son-in-law. Bob found solace and joy in the ocean, and he particularly loved spending time with his wife in Ogunquit, ME, Panama City Beach, FL, and Myrtle Beach, SC. He was an avid Bruins and Celtics fan, having attended several Bruins games at TD Garden and the Bruins Stanley Cup victory parade in Boston. Puzzles, spending time with family, walking his grand-dog, Maya, and working around the house were some of his favorite pastimes.
Bob is survived by his best friend and wife of 50 years, Joyce (Morin) Leclerc; his daughter, Alyssa Leclerc and husband, Justin Silva, whom he considered a son; his sisters, Anita (Leclerc) Potter and husband John; Carrie Leclerc; Elaine (Leclerc) Bergeron and husband Maurice; and Laurie (Leclerc) Binette and husband Denis; his brother-in-law, Jim Morin and partner, Denise Bergeron; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Robert C. Leclerc Sr. and Alice (Hynes) Leclerc; his parents-in-law, Mark and Irene (Lachapelle) Morin; his brother-in-law, John Morin; and his niece, Kristi Galipeau.
A Celebration of Life with family and friends will take place at the White Mountain Chalet at noon on March 8th, 2025, Bob and Joyce’s 50th wedding anniversary. Bob will be laid to rest in the Randolph Cemetery. In his memory, donations may be made to the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH or the Northwoods Cancer Survivors in Berlin, NH.
