Robert R. L'Homme

Robert R. L’Homme of Merrimack, NH, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the age of 95.

Bob was born in Southbridge, MA to parents, Rudolf and Dora L’Homme. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard and earned a Master’s of Science in Facilities Management from Northeastern University.  Bob had a 40 year career as an engineer for Raytheon. He enjoyed boating the lakes of N.H. and southern Florida’s coastline, along with woodworking and birdwatching.

Bob is predeceased by his wife Lena (Venie) L’Homme. They lovingly raised their family in Amherst N.H. He is survived by his daughter Barbara and son in law, Terry Piotrowski of Brookline, NH, his son, David and daughter in law, Jeanne L’Homme of Rye, NH, and his daughter, Beth L’Homme of Brookline, NH.

He is survived by his wife Robin L’Homme of Merrimack, NH and her children, Hilary and Simon and their spouses, Will and Rachel. Robin and Bob shared 35 wonderful years. Bob is also survived by his 10 beloved grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, 10 a.m. at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Meadowview Cemetery in Amherst, NH.
