Reverend Robert J. "Bobby Joe " Lucier of Concord went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 1, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Concord, the son of the late Hazel (Provencher) Lucier and David H. Lucier Sr. He attended Concord High School where he proudly played saxophone in the marching band.
He was most recently employed at Walmart for the past 16 years, where he was known as "Bob the Builder". He enjoyed music, reading, fishing, shooting, and spending time with his family. More than anything, he loved the Lord and was always looking for ways to bring other people to God, and to help them in their journey here on earth.
Over the years he participated in Concord Crimeline, the Boy Scouts of America, and a cancer support group. He also founded Cross of Christ Ministry and was an active member of Grace Capital Church, where he found close friendships with the members of his Life Group.
He is survived by his children, Tracy (Liz) Lucier of Concord, Jessica Wilson and her husband Ben, of Penacook, and Aaron Lucier, of Concord, his grandchildren Allyssa, Kaitlin and Alexander Emery and Julia Dickson, of Concord, Mariah and Meagan Wilson of Penacook, his great grandchildren Dylan LaClair of Boscawen, Aeris Davis and Jack Robert Emery of Concord, his brother, David H. Lucier Jr. of Chichester, two aunts, many loving cousins, several nieces and nephews, and the love of his life, Deanna Lucier.
