Robert Campbell Maclaurin

Robert Campbell Maclaurin (Rob) of Peterborough, NH died on December 28, 2022.  He was 83. He is survived by his loving wife, Katharine Barry Maclaurin and 4 adult children, their spouses and 5 grandchildren.  Kenneth Maclaurin (Septima) of Brookline, MA and grandchildren Tucker and Caterina, Wendy Maclaurin Richardson of San Francisco, CA and grandson William, Eric Dawson Maclaurin, Angus Maclaurin (Michelle Liu) of Oakland, CA and grandsons Ian and Elliot.

Rob Maclaurin lived a full, adventurous life from Cambridge to Bangkok to Tegucigalpa.  After he graduated from Harvard, he obtained a business degree from NYU.  In addition to his education, his entrepreneurial skills were quite profound and were beneficial to many.  For a number of years, he ran a wood import company, and he was passionate about renovation and restoration of historic buildings.  He was an adventurous traveler, his first job photographing famous monuments around the world for college art history departments.  Rob had an abiding love for the mountains and skiing.

A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 51 Concord Street in Peterborough NH on January 7th at 1pm, with a reception to follow at Reynolds Hall.  The Cremation Society of NH has been entrusted with arrangements.  To view an online tribute, leave a message of condolence or for more information please visit www.csnh.com.
