Robert G. Matthews, 56, of 50 Burns Hill Road, Hudson, NH died on April 25, 2000 at his home after living courageously with cancer for 16 months. Mr. Matthews was born on October 8, 1943 in Boston, MA the son of the late George and Eva Henrietta (Jekowski) Matthews. He was an Integrated Logistics Manager for Sanders in Nashua, NH for 30 years and was a certified professional logistician. Family members include; his wife of 23 years, Denise (Guerette) Matthews; two sons and their wives, Robert G. (Josephine) Matthews, Jr. of Canton, MA and Paul (Pamela) Matthews of San Jose, CA; one daughter Mrs. Charles (Kimberly) Lang of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren; one brother, George Matthews of Garden Grove, CA; one sister, Mary Anne Pepe of Plymouth, MA; several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be at the Alvirne Chapel, Derry Road, Hudson, NH on Sunday April 30th from 4 to 8 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, May 1st at 10 AM in St. Katheryn Church, Lowell Road, Hudson, NH with The Reverend Gary Belliveau, Pastor, officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Home Health and Hospice Program, 22 Prospect Street, Nashua, NH 03060. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
