Robert W. Newcomb

Robert "Boobert" W. Newcomb, Sr., 46, of Croydon died October 22, 2003 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon following a period of declining health. He was born on May 3, 1957 in Newport, NH the son of the late William Newcomb and Barbara (Smart) Newcomb who resides in Croydon. He was previously employed as a welder at Can Am where he worked for several years. He was most recently employed as a rifle tester at Sturm Rugers until he retired due to his illness. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to spend time with his son. Family members include; one son, Robert "Bobert" W. Newcomb Jr., of Chester, VT; his mother; three brothers, James Newcomb, Joseph Newcomb and Richard Newcomb, all of Croydon; four nieces; and three nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 27th at 2:00 PM at the Croydon Flat Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Dialysis Unit at DHMC, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03766.
