EPSOM - Robert L. O'Clair, 68, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, after a valiant fight with his body. He was a wonderful husband, devoted father and loving grandfather. He was born Jan. 21, 1939, in Worcester, Mass., to the late William and Fern (Woodbury) O'Clair. He grew up in Dunbarton and graduated from Goffstown High School. Bob was a resident of Epsom, formerly living in Concord. Mr. O'Clair served in the National Guard and, for four years, in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked for Boeing and in the construction trade before working 32 years for the state of New Hampshire in various positions, the last being plant maintenance engineer, until his retirement in 1995. Bob is remembered for his courage, quick wit, vast knowledge and willingness to help others. He was predeceased by his brother William O'Clair. Family members include his wife of 45 years, Marianne (Carroll) O'Clair of Epsom; his son James O'Clair and his wife, Kelley, of Standish, Maine; his daughter Karrie Mailman and her husband, Jim, of Hooksett; his grandchildren Shannon O'Clair, Michael O'Clair and Danielle Mailman; his two boys, McGee and Ted; two sisters, Mary Auer of Nashua and Julie Clark of Loudon; one brother, Timothy O'Clair of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
