Robert Paul Soucy, 88, of Weare, NH and former longtime resident of Merrimack, NH passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH, after a period of declining health surrounded by his family. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Bob was born in Nashua, NH on April 18, 1938 to Leo and Germaine (Cloutier) Soucy. He grew up in Nashua with his sisters. While employed at Horton and Hubbard, he met and fell in love with his beloved wife of 60 years, Beverly, who predeceased him in 2020.

He and Beverly started their family in Nashua before moving to Merrimack where they raised their children and resided for 38 years before moving the Weare, NH.

Bob loved taking long rides with the top down and his wife by his side in his 1963 Ford Falcon. He was very proud to show off his car, during the summer and fall you could often find him on Friday nights participating in the car show at Target.

Bob enjoyed antiquing, collecting and restoring old radios, metal detecting, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed watching and cheering on his grandchildren and great grandchildren at their basketball, t-ball games, and dance recitals.

In addition to his parents and wife he is predeceased by his sisters, Lorraine Soucy and Jeanne Boyer. He leaves behind sons Alan Soucy and wife Connie Camber-Soucy of Grantham, NH, Timothy Soucy and wife Michele of Wilton, NH, James Soucy and wife Karen of Merrimack, NH and a daughter Dawn Marie Dearborn and husband David of Alexandria, NH. His nine grandchildren, Sean, Alaina, Benjamin, Malynda, Gabrial, Jake, Catherine, Jonathan, Rebecca and seven great grandchildren, Bentley, Kyla Jean, Thomas, Myers, Samantha, Levi and Theodore. As well as sister Claire and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held, Friday, July 17, 2026, at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Granite VNA Hospice House, 240 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
