Robert Byrne Scheuhing, 56, of Rindge and Merrimack, died Wednesday, June 2, of a heart attack while at home with Wendy, his loving wife of 31 years. Born August 25, 1947 in New Jersey, Bob served in the Coast Guard, stationed on Bataan in the Philippines and in Newport, Rhode Island. He graduated first in his class from the University of Rhode Island. Over the years Bob worked as an engineer and general manager at Raytheon, Lockheed, and most recently Markem Corporation in Keene. He excelled in his chosen profession and was the holder of several patents. Last week he proudly attended the graduation of his only child, Holly, 24, from Boston College wih her masters in French literature. He has spent the last few years retired, happily tinkering at his lake home. Services will be held Tuesday, June 8th at 10 a.m., at the First Congregational Church (Rindge Meeting House) on the town common in Rindge, New Hampshire.
