Robert Maynard Sorenson

Robert M. Sorenson, 79, of 3 Heather Lane, Bow, NH died on June 15, 2000 at Hospice House in Concord after a long illness. Mr. Sorenson was born of October 1, 1920 in Bagley, Minnesota the son of Selmer and Beulah (Dennis) Sorenson. He was a U S Navy Veteran who served in W W II where he received the Bronze Star. He then joined the navy reserve for an additional 24 years and retired as a senior chief petty officer. He was a member of the VFW and Young at Heart in Bow. He was a cabinet maker for Acushnet Saw Mills in New Bedford, MA for over 20 years. Family members include; his wife of 54 years, Marion (Reed) Sorenson; one son, Donald Sorenson of Laconia; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Masuck of Bow; two grandsons, one brother, Wyllis Sorenson of Acushnet, MA; two sisters, Lois Moe and Mary Jane Sorenson of Minnesota; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be private in Acushnet, MA.
