Robert Yaroma, 85, of Manchester, died March 1, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Manchester on March 12, 1924, the son of George and Ksyma (Szuft) Yaroma and had been a lifelong resident of the City. He was a proud World War II Army Air Corps Veteran, serving in Africa and Italy. He was an accomplished carpenter and loved woodworking. He also enjoyed playing golf. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. In His Life: Family members include his wife of 60 years, Ilona (Musial) Yaroma; a son, Robert G. Yaroma of Manchester; two daughters, Loni Watts of York, ME and Kathy "Kash" Zorawowicz of Goffstown; two grandsons, Jonathan Watts and Nicholas Yaroma; one great grandson, Sawyer Watts; and nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Alexander Yaroma and by a sister, Olga White. A memorial gathering will take place at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Thursday morning from 10 – 11 with a memorial service to follow at 11:00. Committal services with military honors will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen at 12:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made a charity of ones choice.
