Robert A. Zdrada passed away this week at 70 years old. He was born in Newark, NJ August 20, 1950 and died quietly in Atkinson, NH June 4, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Bob resided in Atkinson, NH for 42 years.
Robert was the only son of the late Alphonse and Genevieve (Filipek) Zdrada. He attended Parsippany High School and graduated from Virginia Tech. He spent many years as an account executive in the technology and telecommunication industries.
Bob survived cancer for over 13 years, but suffered multiple health issues following his treatments.
The happiest years of Bob's life were spent as a major contributor to the Timberlane Regional High School booster organizations, most notably football and wrestling. Bob was Booster President for eight years and a member of the Timberlane Athletic Association. He was also part of the genesis of the Timberlane Lacrosse program. Bob's musical talents inspired him to volunteer for the Timberlane music organizations as well.
Because of his hard work and devotion to Timberlane programs, Bob received awards from both the High School Football and Wrestling Boosters. In addition, he received recognition from the middle school wrestling team for his volunteer work. Bob was very generous with his time and his respect for the student athletes, coaches and parents. Because of his loving heart and contributions to Timberlane programs, Bob made a positive impact on the Timberlane community. He created many valued friendships from his community involvements. He will be missed.
Further, Bob and his wife, Valerie Zdrada, played a lead role in bringing high quality sports photography to the forefront of local newspapers, sports program books, and the year books.
His passions included: family sports activities, cooking, music, photography, video editing and family vacations/events. Bob loved to grill steaks for the family on warm summer nights.
Robert leaves behind his wife Valerie and two sons Zachary and Maximillan. Also Bob leaves his sister, Carol Klangwald, and two nieces, Lisa and Lori; who reside in Florida.
It is with love and respect that the Zdrada family will be hosting a private celebration of life for Robert Zdrada in August by invitation only.
