Roberta “Bobbi” Connelly, age 65, passed away on September 22, 2024 after a courageous three-year battle with colorectal cancer. Bobbi was born in Littleton, NH the daughter of Frank and Adelaide “Bunny” Casey.
Bobbi is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Connelly, her mother Bunny Casey, sister and brother in law Jeanne and John Kalinowski, father and mother in law James and Leslie Connelly, brother in law and sister in law Christopher and Joanne Connelly, niece Jennifer (Kalinowski) Gray and her husband Corey, niece Jamie Kalinowski, nephew Drew Connelly, her ex-husband Steve Torte, along with many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Bobbi was predeceased by her father Frank Casey.
Bobbi was a successful marketing executive serving as President/Principal of Rapid Response Marketing, Inc., located in Manchester, N.H., for over twenty-five years. She also spent a number of years working as a marketing professional with Parexel, Mercury Systems, and Emerson Ecologics. Bobbi loved her work and enjoyed her daily interaction with colleagues and clients.
Bobbi was a fun spirited soul who cherished quality conversation and a good laugh. She was a wonderful cook, had an extensive cookbook collection, and enjoyed experimenting with new recipes. She loved tending to her vegetable and flower gardens and looked forward to visiting the nursery for her spring and fall plants. Bobbi and Jim enjoyed many trips to Montreal for fine dining and trips to Pittsburg, NH for some relaxing fishing and rides on the logging roads. She cherished her chocolate and black labs and weekend rides to Hampton so that the dogs could run on the beach.
Bobbi will be dearly missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and of course her dogs. Until we meet again, CHEERS!
The family is grateful for the medical care provided by the Solinsky Center for Cancer at The Elliot and are particularly thankful for the kind, compassionate, end of life care provided by the amazing providers working on the Fitch Unit at the Elliot Hospital.
There will be no calling hours and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
