Roberta Lee Philbrick, 82, of Salem, New Hampshire, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her home in Salem, NH.

Roberta was born in Lincoln, ME on March 10, 1939. Roberta was the daughter of Robert and Mildred Pinkham. Roberta met Gene Philbrick in the mid 70's and they were married where they first met in the First Baptist Church in Newton, MA. They lived briefly in Needham, MA and have resided in Salem, NH since 1978.

Roberta's outgoing personality, warm, engaging smile and wit made her a stimulating addition in any conversation. Roberta personified a Christian life in every aspect, active in church ministries, leading adult bible studies, prayer groups and singing in choirs. Roberta consistently provided Christian guidance to her children + grandchildren.
She was truly a woman of wisdom and of God.

Roberta graduated from Husson Business College and worked as an executive secretary and administrative assistant for several firms. Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) curtailed her business career.However, she joined the Boston Lupus Chapter, started and monthly led the only SLE chapter in New Hampshire for ten plus years.

She loved traveling with her husband and, especially to the annual vacation to Maine's mid-coast Penobscot Bay area.

Roberta will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Gene Philbrick; son, David and his wife Jane Kibler; daughters, Debra and her husband Kirk Hemphill; Sharon and her husband Ronald Byron; stepson, Mark Philbrick and his wife Margaret Taylor; brothers, Roger, Ronald and Douglas plus grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom
she loved and encouraged.
