IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robin Ann
Colarusso
October 10, 1958 – January 17, 2026
Robin Ann Colarusso, 67, died Saturday surrounded by her family January 17, 2026 at Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH.
Robin was born in East Boston, Massachusetts, and grew up in Malden, where she formed many of the friendships and values that shaped her life. She spent most of her adult years in Everett, Massachusetts, before retiring to Hooksett, New Hampshire, a place she quickly came to love.
A proud graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1976, Robin went on to pursue her passion for Early Childhood Education. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston City College and her master’s degree from Cambridge College. Robin dedicated more than 30 years to the Malden Public Schools, spending much of her career as a third‑grade teacher at Forestdale Elementary School. She was deeply respected by colleagues, cherished by her students, and remembered for her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to helping children learn and grow. She retired from teaching in 2020.
Robin and her husband Barry met as teenagers and shared over 40 years of love before his passing in 2017.
Creativity came naturally to Robin. She was an avid crafter who delighted in making wreaths, paintings, ceramics, and acrylic keepsakes. Most recently, she perfected the art of drying and pressing flowers, turning simple blooms into beautiful mementos. She also treasured time spent with friends over dinner and found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by her family.
Robin’s life was defined by kindness, creativity, and a deep love for the people around her.
Robin is survived by her two daughters: Stephanie Ward and her husband Rich of Hooksett, NH, and Lisa Murphy and her husband Ray of East Taunton, MA. She was a devoted Nana to Julia Cupples and her husband Casey, Benjamin Ward, and Patrick and Ryan Murphy.
She is also survived by her stepfather, Richard Fournier of Everett, MA.
Robin will be deeply missed by her siblings: her sister, Jodi Maddelani and her husband Andy of Malden, MA; her brother, Billy Colarusso and his wife Kelli of Gorham, ME; and her sister‑in‑law, Donna Worcester of Malden, MA.
She adored her many nieces and nephews—Matthew, Jeffrey, Amanda, Kristi, Kayla, Luca, Daxton, River, Jude, and Rowan—and held a special place in her heart for her aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Robin was predeceased by her parents, Ralph Colarusso and Lorraine Mackey Fournier.
“Where flowers bloom, so does hope.” — Lady Bird Johnson
May her memory continue to bloom in the hearts of those she loved so dearly.
