Robin M. McIntyre, 59, of Chichester passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2017 following a lengthy and hard-fought battle with cancer.
Robin was born in Amesbury, MA on November 22, 1957 to Melvin and Mary (Fairbanks) Perkins. She was raised in Amesbury and graduated from Tilton Northfield High School. Robin was self-taught seamstress. She most recently worked as a Stitcher at Globe Manufacturing in Pittsfield, NH producing turnout gear for Firefighters. Previously, Robin worked at British Auto in Manchester making upholstery for Jaguar and Rolls Royce. She also owned Lake Ave Tailor Shop in Manchester doing alterations and repairs for seven Wilsons Leather Stores made leather products for Deerfield Leather in Deerfield, NH.
Robin enjoyed spending her time making amazing quilts. She loved cruising around in her many different hot rods and cruised with Lone Wolf Car Club, of which she was a founding member. Robin was an amazing lady with a tirelessly positive outlook. She was always willing to help anyone in need and she touched the heart of everyone she met.
Robin is survived by her husband, Wayne McIntyre; her son, Wayne Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth; five grandchildren, Devon, Danika, Ryan, Lola, and Violet; her sister, Janet Reagan; her brother, Melvin Perkins; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Robin was predeceased by her sister, Pam McCarthy and her brother, Bill Minnicello.
Family and friends are invited to attend a cemetery committal service Thursday, May 18th at 3:00pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robin's memory may be made to the NH Veterans Cemetery Association, PO Box 626, Concord, NH 03302-0626.
