Roger Florain Forand passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 17, 2022, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family and showered with so much love.
Roger was born in Manchester, NH where he resided most of his life. He was one of six children born to Bernard and Solange Forand. As a child, Roger enjoyed riding his minibike, water skiing, and creating memories at the camp on Baboosic Lake.
Roger ventured off into his adult years, got married and had two boys who were his pride and joy. Roger raised his boys in Epping, NH. At this time, Roger began his truck driving career that he later retired from to restart the family business, Armands Fried Clams. If he wasn’t working to solely provide for his children, he was off making memories with them, coaching their sports teams and teaching them life skills and how to become successful.
Leading up to his final retirement, Roger took a role in the sales department at Kane’s Auto Sales ending in the role of helping the boys in all aspects of the family business doing whatever asked of him.
Roger is survived by his children; Christopher Forand and his wife April Forand of Sandown, NH, Adam Forand and his longtime girlfriend Brandi Lang of Manchester, NH, Siblings; Bernie (Sonny) Forand of Ft. Myers, FL, Theresa (Terry) Forand of Manchester, NH, Normand Forand of Manchester, NH, Linda Groendyke of Hemet, CA, many grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan Wilde.
One of Rogers final wishes before the Lord called him home was for his family and friends to not dwell and believe in the Lord with all of your heart.
