Roger Oscar Lavarnway of Nashua, NH, age 86, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 13, 2026.

He was born in Nashua on March 25, 1940, the son of Oscar and Rita (Laquerre) Lavarnway.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Sylvia Friend of Lyndonville, Vermont, and Shirley Lavarnway of Franklin, NH.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Thelma (Hamm) Lavarnway, and his children, Jared Lavarnway and his wife, Susan, of Nashua, NH, Jason Lavarnway of Earlville, NY, Renee Bares of Claremont. NH, and Emilee Lavarnway of Williamsport, PA. two sisters, Joan Hudson of Brevard NC, and Cecile Chanel of Tilton, NH, and many neices, nephews and grandchildren.

Roger attended Nashua and Boston schools. His last place of employment was Burbak Plastics in Wilton, NH.

Roger enjoyed family and friends, fishing, and his ministry as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

A memorial of his life will be observed at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 282 Broad St, Hollis, NH, on August 2 at 4pm.

Roger will be missed by his wife, his family, and his many friends.
