Roland C. Crawford

Roland C. Crawford, Sr., 67, of Merrimack died September 11, 2005 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Nashua following a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Crawford was born on January 8, 1938 in Everett, MA the son of the late John and Ingrid (Young) Crawford. Roland was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Tyngsboro Golf Association, an avid golfer and bowler and Red Sox fan. He enjoyed reading in his spare time. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. Family members include; his wife of 44 years, Georgina “Jean” Crawford; two sons, Roland Crawford Jr., of Merrimack and Dr. David Crawford of Chicago; one daughter, Karen Lapiana of Merrimack; four grandchildren, Nicholas Crawford, Meghan Crawford, Victoria Lapiana and Anthony Lapiana; one sister, Janice Veno of Hampstead and formerly of Revere; and several nieces and nephews. Roland was predeceased by his brother, John Crawford. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM with a Moment of Reflection at 6:45 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester.
