Roland "Roly" Alfred Day of Franklin, NH, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2019 at the age of 65.
He was born in Exeter, NH, on October 25, 1953, to parents Lillian Crawford Day and Alfred "Bucky" Theodore Day.
Roly grew up in Danville, NH where, as a child, he enjoyed playing baseball, spending time with family, helping his father take care of racehorses, and as the only boy, teasing his sisters. He was his mother's favorite, and he knew it. Training and caring for harness horses up and down the eastern seaboard was his profession until retirement. An outgoing and social man, with a bright Irish smile, made him a friend to many along his travels.
He is survived by his daughters, Robin Ann Day, of South River, NJ, and Renee Alysha Day, of Pompano Beach FL.; eight grandchildren, Alysha, Tommy, Tyler, Hunter, Gionna, Makayla, Andrew, and Neveah; and sisters, Barbara, Judith, Joy, Jane, Pamela, and many nieces and nephews. Roly will be missed by all who loved him.
