Roland A. Rioux

Roland Rioux, 92 of Hudson, NH, formerly of Nashua, died on December 8, 2020 after complications related to the Covid-19 virus.

Roland was born on December 23, 1927 in Nashua, NH and was the son of the late Melina (Marios) and Wilfred Rioux. Roland was predeceased by his first wife Peggy (Duncan) Rioux, his infant son Roland Rioux Jr., his second wife, Connie (Levesque) Rioux, his sister Irene Alton and his daughter Lori (Rioux) Woodward.

Roland is survived by his children, Robert Rioux and his wife Kim of Hyannis, MA, Richard Rioux and his wife Carmen of Mont Vernon, NH, Dennis Rioux and his wife Elaine of Nashua, NH, Wayne Hayes of Nashua, NH, Donna (Rioux) Livesey and her husband Richard of Nashua, NH, Tim Rioux of Sarasota, FL, Debbie Noury of Litchfield, NH and many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Roland retired from the Army Air Force as a corporal. During his service, Roland spent time in Indiana where he met Peggy and enjoyed car racing. Roland later moved to Hudson where he lived for many years and retired from Nashua Corporation after 37 years of service. Roland spent his final years being cared for at the NH Veteran's Home.

Roland enjoyed riding his motorcycle and attended many Laconia bike weeks. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
