Ronald Henry Dionne, 71, died peacefully, Tuesday May 30, 2023, at his home, 14 Nottingham Rd. in Raymond, NH. He was born on August 8, 1951, in Exeter, NH, the son of Henry and Blanche Dionne. Though he was born in Exeter, NH, Ronald was raised and spent most of his life in Epping, NH.
Ronald was one of a kind—a gentle soul who was perhaps the first hippie in his rural community. As a senior in Epping High School, he kept his hair long, leading to the school suspending him. Ronald never returned to finish his high school education. Following school, Ronald worked doing various carpentry jobs throughout his life. He loved the music of his generation, including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and many more of the greats of that time. His all-time favorite was the Beatles.
If there is such a thing as an afterlife, Ronnie is smiling, enjoying a toke and a beer with Jimi, Janis, John, and George. That is how he would like to be remembered.
Ronald was predeceased by his sister Nancy Braley of Epping, NH.
Ronald is survived by his sister Linda Dionne, nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
