Ronald J. Frazier

Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Frazier passed peacefully at home at the age of 63 surrounded by his family after a heroic 6 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 40 years and love of his life, Teresa, of Bow, NH, his son Ryan and his wife Amy of New Boston, NH, his son Jason and his wife Elizabeth of Bow, NH, his beloved grandchildren Braden (8), Austin (5), Adaira (3) and Callan (1), his mother, Mary Frederick, brothers Douglas and his wife Kellie, Stephen and his wife Brenda and sister Susan and her husband Glenn. He is predeceased by his father, Durward, and his oldest brother, David.

He was born in Portland, ME to parents Durward and Mary. Raised in Scarborough, ME, he helped his family on their farm raising animals.  The youngest of the four sons, finding some mischief was never hard to do. He graduated from Scarborough High School in 1978.

He met his high school sweetheart, Teresa, in 1975.  The two quickly became inseparable and were married in 1982.  He soon started going by the name ‘Dad’ with the birth of his sons, Ryan in 1985 and Jason in 1987.

He started working for Rivco in 1980 where he worked his way up from loading trucks in Scarborough, ME to managing their Burlington, VT store and then, managing the sales team in their home office in Penacook, NH. After 28 years with Rivco, he worked as a salesman for Northeast Door Corporation in Bow, NH. The second half of his career lasted for 13 years until his retirement in 2021. He also started his own business, The Window Medics, in 2008 with close friend and fellow former Rivco employee, Don.

He enjoyed wood working and building.  Raising his two sons, he would regularly have little helpers. He was always the first one to turn to when there was a project design in need.  His sons certainly enjoyed the time spent working with him on many projects, large and small.

He also enjoyed playing golf, hunting, watching sports including the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Nascar. He loved a good game of cribbage, was a sucker for a sappy Hallmark movie, and if the weather was right he could be found taking a drive with Teresa in his ‘Beemer’.   He always had a dog (or four) by his side, all of whom he adored, though none more than his Chocolate Lab, Abby. To him, she was ‘B-E-A-Utiful’, something he would say causing her to always perk up and wag her tail endlessly.

Most of all, his grandchildren were the light of his life.  Nothing made him happier than being a grandfather and finding a way to bring smiles to all of their faces. He was always known to be sneaky with candy or gummies from his coat pocket. He loved watching his two eldest grandsons play soccer and baseball.  He loved traveling the world with his granddaughter and youngest grandson with trips to Mexico and Scotland.  He simply loved being a grandfather, his crowning achievement to a wonderful life.
