Ronald Silver

Ronald "George" Dix Silver, 70, of Webster, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at Concord Hospital.

Ron was born in Concord July 24, 1948 to William and Ruth (Bailey) Silver. He was a lifelong resident of Boscawen and worked for many years at Colby Lumber in town. He loved farming and animals, especially oxen, which he trained, showed, and pulled at fairs throughout the state.

Ron is survived by his brother, William C. Silver and wife, Jean of Loudon; sister, Virginia Benoit of Boscawen; brother-in-law, David Dandurand of Canterbury; sister-in-law, Nancy Silver of Winthrop, ME; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Ron was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Dandurand, and a brother, Robert Silver.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, February 9th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen. Graveside services will be held at Beaver Dam Cemetery in Boscawen at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hopkinton State Fair Association, P.O.
