Rosalie J. (Libby) Kelly, 66 of Plaistow died January 2, 2003 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Kelly was born on March 1, 1936 in St. Albans, Maine daughter of the late Alton and Marilla (Stone) Libby. She was educated in Wiscasset, Maine and later lived in Haverhill, MA for many years. She had previously worked at the Pond View Restaurant n Kingston, NH and as a bookkeeper before moving to St. Marys, GA 12 years ago. She was the owner of the Garden Gate Gifts & Collectibles in St. Marys for several years and a founder of the St. Marys Downtown Merchants Association as well as the Annual Mardi Gras Festival and Parade in St. Marys. Rosalie has received Community Achievement Awards presented by the St. Marys Downtown Merchants Association. She enjoyed summering in New Hampshire and spending winters in Georgia. Family members include; her husband of 44 years, Thomas W. Kelly; three sons Vance M. Kelly and Patrick T. Kelly and Daniel J. Kelly and his wife, Sheryl all of Plaistow, NH; two daughters, Kristina M. Kelly Hoyt and her husband, David of Plaistow, NH and Colleen S. Adams and her husband Chad of Santa Rosa, CA; and seven grandchildren. A Memorial Service will celebrated on Monday, January 6th at 10:30 AM at St. Anne's Church in Hampstead.
