Rose A. Cote, 81, of Manchester passed away peacefully at her home on June 16, 2018 after a long period of declining health. She was surrounded by her loving family during her last days.
Rose was born in Providence, Rhode Island; raised in Manchester and attended the Ste. Marie and Ste. Peter's schools. She often voiced her appreciation for the guidance and dedication provided in her formative years by the nuns of St Peter's. She went on to marry the love of her live, Robert L. Cote, January 18, 1958. As a devoted wife, mother, sister and memere, Rose was the pillar of strength for her family. She had one daughter, Susan, and was the eldest of ten siblings. She traveled the world extensively with her husband and cherished time spent with friends and family. Before retiring she worked as a department manager in the electronics & printed circuit industry as at Raytheon.
In addition to her loving husband, Bob, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage, Rose is survived by her daughter, Susan Vermette-McCann and husband Sean McCann of Manchester; grandson Benjamin Vermette and his wife Melissa Vermette of Manchester, and great-grandchildren Jack, Emma & Henry Vermette; her sisters, Florence Nolette of CT and Helen Sleeper of MD, and brothers, Arthur Boulanger of Manchester, Raymond Boulanger of Allenstown and Richard Boulanger of MS, several nieces, nephews and cousins and extended family and friends.
A memorial mass will be held at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester, NH on Friday June 22nd at 10am. A memorial gathering will follow after the memorial mass.
