Rose A. Lavoie 3-14-1915 - 9-15-2007 Rose A. Lavoie, 92, a resident of 60 Riverfront Drive, apt. 326, Manchester, NH 03102 and formerly of Nashua and Naples, Fl. passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2007. Rose was born, raised and educated in the French Hill section of Nashua, the eldest daughter of the late William and Albina (Laroche) Gagnon. She was the wife of the late Edgar R. Eddie Lavoie whom she married on August 14, 1940. Together they loved vacationing in Florida, eventually moving there in 1978 following their retirement from the family furniture business in Downtown Nashua, returning to the area in 1993. A homemaker, Rose loved listening, watching and attending Red Sox games. She followed them in good times and in bad. She enjoyed maintaining her flower gardens as well as cooking for her family; and loved spending time with her extended family. Rose made friends easily and spent many hours with them regaling stories of decades of experiences. She never drove; but enjoyed going for long drives to somewhere, anywhere or nowhere. Rose was pre-deceased by a sister, Ella Rita (Gagnon) Paquette, a brother George Gagnon and an infant sister. Loving family members include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert M. and Dorothy Lavoie; Edgar C. Bizz and Donna Lavoie all of Nashua; nine grandchildren, Lynne Anne (H. Wayne) Carter of Soldotna, AK; Michael R. Lavoie of Lilburn, GA; Cheryl Anne (Mark) Kendrick of Weare, NH; Stephen R. (Amy) Lavoie of Nashua; Deeanne (Kevin) Berube of Merrimack, NH; Kristin Pacheco of VT; Nathan Church, (Brenda) of Merrimack, NH: Amy Lavoie of Burbank, CA; and B.J.
