Rose M. Watterson

Rose Marie Watterson, 56, of Manchester, died unexpectedly May 4, 2022.

She was born in Concord to Mary N. DeGreenia and the late David F. Watterson, and she attended Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook.

Rose loved knitting and listening to music way too loud. She was an incredibly kind, caring, and helpful person who deeply enjoyed the simple things in life and time spent with family and friends. Her sons meant the world to her, and she took every opportunity to tell them she loved them, and she was proud of them. Rose also spent countless hours walking Bear, her boyfriend’s dog, who quickly became THEIR dog and whom they trained to say “Mama” and “I love you.”

Rose is survived by her mother, Mary N. DeGreenia; stepfather, Alfred G. DeGreenia Sr.; sons, Kevin H. Folsom and Johnathan R. Folsom; step-siblings, Alfred G. DeGreenia Jr. and Keri L. Walthers; her companion of almost 30 years, James J. Corriveau; grandchildren, Skyler R. Folsom and Damian J. Folsom; aunt and uncle, Sara and Nathan Atkinson; cousins Jessica Lavigne and her husband Scott, and Joshua Atkinson and his companion Lori Marden; several extended family members in NH and Illinois; and countless cherished friends she met along the way.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service being to be held at 10:00am Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen, with cemetery committal following immediately at Woodlawn Cemetery on Village Street in Penacook. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Live & Let Live Farm, 20 Paradice Ln, Chichester, NH 03258, or to the charity of one’s choice.
