MANCHESTER, NH â Rosemarie L. (Heroux) Auger, 79, rose to her heavenly glory on August 14, 2018 surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren and best friend.
All knew her as Rosie. She was indeed the most beautiful rose who graced this earth. She was the daughter of the late Aristide and Marie Ange (Chateauneuf) Heroux, born in Jamaica Plains, Boston, Massachusetts on October 12, 1938. She was a loving wife and the sparkle of his eye, to the late Robert G. Auger. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Heroux.
The loves of her life, her everything, were her six daughters: Colette (Gosselin) Leavitt, Michelle Gosselin, Monique Gosselin-Faucher, Celine Gosselin, Nicole (Gosselin) Spinosa and Celeste Gosselin; two sons-in-law, Kenneth Faucher and Paul Spinosa. In addition, her life long side kick who became more of a sister over the following sixty years, Aline Demers. She nurtured nine grandchildren: Ashley, Thomas, Matthew, Katlynn, Tyler, Greg, Cody, Laurie, Nicholas and delighted in three great grandchildren: Easton, Olivia and Travis.
Rosie's life was one of love, joy, kindness, spirit, courage, endurance, forgiveness, bright smiles that lit a room, and a kindred grace that spread to all she touched. Through her life long journey, she was always seeking ways to help others through church ministry and became an encouraging coach to divorced and separated couples. She was an advocate for women who endured domestic abuse. Her pride and joy was the formation of her Woman Quest community for over twenty years, where women grew in faith and friendships. These women who journeyed through her retreats are forever changed because of its Founder, Rosie. Gently, genuinely and lovingly is how she lived her life.
As we release our mother's earthly shell to her glorious spirit of light and love, and to her Almighty Creator, we love you with all our hearts and souls. We thank you for loving us unconditionally. We were blessed that you were our rock, our teacher and our caregiver in all aspects of life. Thank you for teaching us how to love and how to forgive; how to pray and how to heal; how to cry and how to laugh. You left us with the greatest gift any mother could impart â each other. We will cherish your beauty, your memory and your undying love until we meet again. We love you to infinity and beyond and to the pearly gates of Heaven. Your Apples!
