Rosemary S. Callahan, 74, of Rochester Manor died on February 5, 2002 at Frisbee Memorial Hospital brief illness. Mrs. Callahan was born on August 16, 1927 in Portland, Maine the daughter of the late Ralph and Ermina (Smith) Segars. She graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine in 1945. She moved to Portsmouth in 1954 where she was a resident for over forty years. There she worked for Data General for over ten years. Mrs. Callahan was a lifelong naturalist and bird watcher and past along her love of nature to her family. Family members include; two sons, Edmund Callahan of Kittery, Maine and Lee Salem of Leawood, Kansas; and six grandchildren.
