Rosemary K. George

Rosemary Kathleen George, 78, of Milford, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023 at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH.

She was born on January 11, 1945 to John H. and Helen (Baronas) Dunleavy Sr.

She grew up in Brattleboro, Vermont and graduated from Brattleboro Union High School in 1963. She moved to Milford, New Hampshire in 1980.

Rose worked as head waitress at the Milford Diner, better known as “Rosie's Diner."

She was a hardworking and loving woman. Rose was an avid reader, had a love for the ocean, dancing, and cooking. She had a special love for animals.

She enjoyed cooking for friends and family. Her greatest passion was her job at the diner, where she worked until she retired. She always had a smile and a story to share.

Rose was predeceased by her parents, John and Helen Dunleavy Sr., her sister, Carol, and husband, Roger Smith, her brother, James (Jimmy) Dunleavy and her sister, Susan Dunleavy.

She is survived by her daughter, Patty and her husband, Tim Cline, two grandsons, Kobe and Cooper, one great grandson, Greyson, her brother, John and wife, Ellen Dunleavy Jr, brother, Francis and wife, Christine Dunleavy, and a sister-in-law, Linda, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held at a later date at Saint Michael's Cemetery, Brattleboro, Vermont.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosemary’s name to the American Lung Association, or Saint Jude’s.
