It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosemary Claire (Morrissey) Isabelle, who passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at the age of 93, in Boscawen, New Hampshire, surrounded by her loving family.
Rosemary was born on May 3, 1933, in Chicopee, Massachusetts, to Robert and Margaret (Brownlee) Morrissey. She was raised in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she developed the kindness, compassion, strength, and steadfast faith that would guide her throughout her life.
She attended Saint Anselm College and pursued a career as a Registered Nurse, dedicating many years to the care and comfort of others. Rosemary took great pride in her profession and the countless lives she touched through her compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Above all, Rosemary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She cherished time spent with her family and loved ones, creating lasting memories through her warmth, laughter, and loving spirit.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Penny Sarcione, and her husband, Jim Sarcione; her stepson, Mark Dee Isabelle; her granddaughter, Abigail Lopez, and her husband, Hector; her granddaughter, Samantha Sarcione; her grandsons, Anthony Sarcione, James Sarcione, Christopher, Jordan, and Thomas Isabelle. Along with her great-granddaughter, Isabelle.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, W. James Isabelle; her parents, Robert and Margaret (Brownlee) Morrissey; her sisters, Patricia Morrissey and Elizabeth Reed; and her stepsons, Michael and Daniel Isabelle.
Rosemary will be remembered for her strength, kindness, compassion, and deep faith. She had a gentle heart and a generous spirit, and her love for her family was evident in all that she did. The love and kindness she shared will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Merrimack County Nursing Home and Granite VNA for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided to Rosemary and her loved ones during her final days.
A memorial service celebrating Rosemary's life will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King Street Boscawen, NH 03303. Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 in the funeral Home chapel. A graveside ceremony and interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH 03303.
Following the graveside service, family and friends are warmly invited to gather for a banquet and reception to continue celebrating Rosemary's life, sharing stories, and enjoying fellowship together. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Edna McKenna Fund in Rosemary's honor.
Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we find comfort in the many memories Rosemary created and the countless lives she touched. Her legacy of love, faith, compassion, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
