Ruth Butler Carlton

Ruth B Carlton, age 95, a resident of Barrington, NH passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2024. She was born in Stratham, NH and was a lifelong area resident, the daughter of the late James and Florence (Rand) Butler. Ruth graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1947. She retired from the Navy Exchange at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in 1992. Ruth is predeceased by her husband Ransom Carlton Jr and her daughter Janice Kemble. She is survived by her daughter Christine Norush (Gil) of Fernandina Beach, Fl, her son Robert Carlton (Beth) of Barrington, NH, 7 Grandchildren, John and Charlie Marshall, Michael and Nathan White, Alex and Lindsay Carlton, Nancy Ordaz and Michael Kemble. 9 Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild. At Ruth’s request there will be no services.
