Ruth Ellen Kunkel

Ruth Ellen Kunkel, 63, of Amesbury, MA died on February 1, 2004 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA after a lengthy illness. Ms. Kunkel was born on May 19, 1940 in Newbury, MA, the daughter of the late Ralph and Bessy (Noyse) Roberts. She previously worked at Maycom Cable & Antenna in Amesbury, MA for twelve years. She went out fighting like a true patriot of which she was an avid fan for years.They won, Mom! She enjoyed car racing and also loved all animals.She was loved by all who knew her and we love you with all of our hearts, Mom. Family members include; one son, Joseph Blazonis of Haverhill, MA; one daughter, Cindy and her husband, William Heil of Rowley, MA;two grandchildren, Joseph and his wife, Kathryn Heil and William Heil; one great-grandson, Joseph Heil; one brother, Ralph Roberts of Seabrook, NH; two sisters, Alice Stickney of Seabrook, NH and Joan Heath and her husband Mel of Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a close firend and ex-husband, Joseph Blazonis. Ms. Kunkel was predeceased by her brother, Fredrick M. Roberts.
