Ryan Timothy Woods, 40, of Loudon, NH, passed away on June 17, 2024, after a long illness.
Ryan was born in Concord, NH on March 23, 1984, to Susan (Perron) Woods of Loudon, NH, and Timothy J. Woods of Moultonborough, NH.
Despite his disabilities, Ryan was determined to complete his education, graduating from Concord High School in 2004. He then went on to attend day programming at Easter Seals in Bow, NH for many years.
Ryan’s enormous capacity for the love of his family and friends was inspiring to everyone who knew him. He loved to bring people into his world, so he gathered countless friends throughout the years. One of his favorite ways of reaching out and sharing his affection for them was by surprising people with a beautiful bouquet of red roses… his favorite flower. Ryan’s wicked sense of humor made us laugh, and he shared a special bond with his favorite kitty, Snapples. When he wasn’t home enjoying his favorite TV game shows or listening to country music, Ryan’s ultimate and favorite best day was taking long rides with his family in his van.
Ryan is survived by his mother, father, sister, Abby Auprey, and stepfather, Paul Auprey; step-grandparents, Paul and Leta Auprey and paternal grandparents, James Woods and Carol Carlson; in addition to several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Jacqueline Perron of Concord, and great-grandparents, Albert and Pauline Schinella.
The love and happiness that Ryan brought into this world will be treasured by all of us who were blessed to know him.
Forever in our hearts, rest in peace, Ryan… on Wings of Angels.
Services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 180 Loudon Road, Concord, NH 03301, on July 20, 2024, at 1:00pm. Reception to immediately follow in the Parish Hall.
It is the family’s request that in Ryan’s honor, you spread his love and “pay it forward” by gifting a little bouquet of red roses to someone you love.
