Sally Anne Sanborn

Sally Anne (Jacques) Sanborn, peacefully passed away on April 13, 2024, at Bedford Hills Nursing Home. Born on February 19, 1940, in Wakefield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Helen Jacques.

She was married to her beloved husband, Richard Willis Sanborn, who preceded her in death. Sally was a faithful member of Bethany Chapel Church in Manchester, NH, where she generously volunteered her time at the food pantry in Merrimack, NH, a testament to her compassionate spirit.

Sally graduated from Wakefield High School in 1958.

Left to honor her memory are her devoted sisters: JoMarie Allen (husband Albert Allen), Bonie McDonald (husband Carl McDonald), and the late Carla Lantry (husband Tom Lantry).

Sally leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Alan Sanborn (wife Karen Sanborn), Anne Vigneault (fiancé Nick Poore), and the late Dawn Sanborn and Richard Sanborn Jr.

She was a beloved grandmother to a host of grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her spirit: Alan and Karen's son, James Sanborn (wife Tiffany Sanborn), and their children, Everly and Carter; Alan and Karen's daughter, Katie Sanborn, and her daughter, Mia Soto; Anne and David's son, Rick Caikauskas (wife Nicole Caikauskas), and their children, Alison and Jackson; Anne and David's daughter, Sarah Caikauskas and Brian Hatch, along with their children, Skylar, Elizabeth, and Michael; Dawn's daughter, Kristi Lee Horne, and son, Zack Horne (wife Emily Horne), and their children, Alexandria and Luca. Also, many nieces and nephews. 

She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Rachel Sanborn and Susan Miller.

Sally's life was a testament to love, family, and service, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A chapel service followed by a celebration of life will be held on May 4th, 12PM at the Bethany Chapel Community Church, 54 Newbury Road, Manchester NH 03104. All are invited.
