Sandra Licea

Sandra Jean (Jones) Licea, 74, died peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Pine Heights in Brattleboro. She was born on March 11, 1948, to the late Paul and Florence (Younger) Jones in Brattleboro, VT.

A lifelong Brattleboro resident, Sandra loved playing card and board games, such as Yahtzee and Skip Bo, but she especially loved Bingo. When Sandra wasn’t playing various games with her friends and family, whom she loved unconditionally, she could be found scouring local yard sales, as she was always on the search to add to her beloved elephant collection. While her elephant collection was very important to her, it would never compare to how important family was, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is predeceased by her sister Jackie Jones, her son Kevin Dancosse, and her great granddaughter, Mia Rodriguez.

Sandra is survived by her daughter Melissa Dancosse, her sons, Norman Dancosse and his wife Patricia, Scott Dancosse and his wife Tammy, her grandchildren Jeremey Dancosse and his wife Maisie, Lidubina Cabello, Michael Dancosse, Matthew Dancosse and his wife Erica, Rosa Cabello, Rafael Cabello, Thomas Hernandez, Elexus Dancosse, as well as her nine great grandchildren. In addition, Sandra will be deeply missed by her two sisters Brenda and Bonnie, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
