Sandra Winslow Swift, 76, of Walpole died December 24, 2003 at Springfield Hospital in Vermont. Mrs. Swift was born on May 15, 1927 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frederick and Ruth (Dillingham) Winslow. She graduated from Montgomery Blair High School and attended the University of Vermont where she studied agriculture. She retired in 1988 from the Cheshire County Conservation District where she was a District Manager. Mrs. Swift loved watching sports and was a Red Sox and Patriots fan. She enjoyed embroidery, crossword puzzles and genealogy. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, a member of the Walpole Senior Citizens and also formerly served on the Fall Mountain Regional School Board. Family members include; her husband of 56 years, Alan T. Swift; two sons, Jeffrey Swift of Campton and Timothy Swift of Walpole; five granddaughters; one great grandson; two brothers, Peter Winslow of Randolph, VT and John Winslow of Hernando, FL; one sister, Judith Winslow of St. Petersburg, FL; one niece; and four nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Dana Swift who died in 1976. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the First Congregational Church, 19 Washington Street, Walpole, NH 03608 or to the Walpole Ambulance Service, P O Box 226, Walpole, NH 03608. Burial will be private in the spring at the family's convenience.
