Sandra Walker

After a brief illness, Sandra Ann (Kelleher) Walker, 86, of Tooele, Utah died peacefully on December 13, 2022.

Sandra was born in Haverhill, MA on August 5, 1936 to Charles Porter Kelleher and Katherine Theresa Gray. Sandra is survived by her son Craig (Tricia). Sandra is predeceased by her husband Richard, brother David, sister Pat, mother Katherine, and father Charles.

Sandra was raised in Haverhill and Winchester, MA.  After graduating high school, she pursued her Bachelor’s in English and Literature at Radcliffe College in Cambridge, MA. Sandra met the love of her life, Richard while living in Arlington, MA in 1969.  After marrying in 1970, Sandra and Richard moved to Belmont, MA where they lived until 1975. Sandra was a longtime resident of Ashland and Lexington, MA, where she and Richard raised their son Craig. Sandra then retired to Hill, NH in 2000 where she and Richard enjoyed their final years together taking long drives in the country, snowshoeing, gardening, reading, and tackling Sunday crosswords. After Richard’s passing in 2015, Sandra moved to Tooele, UT to be near her son.

Throughout her life, Sandra loved to read classic and contemporary literature. A passion she passed on to her son. Sandra also valued pursuit of advanced education. She encouraged her son’s pursuit of a master’s degree and was extremely proud of his academic and professional accomplishments.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service for Sandra at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen, NH.
