Shannon Marie McCarthy

Shannon Marie McCarthy, 28, passed away on March 12, 2021 at Concord Hospital after battling a short illness. She was born on February 21, 1993 in Manchester, NH to Sean E McCarthy and Kimberly S Macey. Shannon spent her childhood in Concord. Many will fondly remember her time spent dancing for Concord Dance Academy and NH School of Ballet, where she was awarded countless awards and titles both individually and as member of her team. Shannon graduated from Concord High in June of 2011. After high school Shannon moved to New Jersey and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Montclair State University May 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. After college, Shannon traveled the United States extensively before returning to New Hampshire to start her Master's degree in Public Relations at Southern New Hampshire University. In addition to her parents, Shannon is survived and will be missed greatly by her brother Brendan McCarthy, her maternal grandparents Bruce and Suzanne Macey, her paternal grandmother Marie McCarthy and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Shannon was predeceased by her paternal grandfather Kevin J. McCarthy. There will be no formal services scheduled at this time.
