Shannon (Burleigh) Rose, 36, of Manchester, passed away at Beth Israel Hospital on Sunday April 3rd 2022 after a long illness.
Born in Manchester on August 17, 1985, she was the daughter of Elaine (Lacroix) Burleigh and Donald Burleigh. She was a graduate of Manchester West High School. She also studied Criminal Justice at Manchester Community College. Throughout her career, Shannon held a variety of positions in customer service and finance. A bright and personable employee, she was never afraid to learn something new.
Shannon had a passion for word games and family games that brought laughter to everyone. She was extremely family oriented and had a quick wit and a huge heart. Above all else, she will be remembered as a caring and loving mother, daughter, cousin, and great friend.
Surviving family members include her mother, Elaine (Lacroix) Burleigh, her daughter, Sophia Rose, her daughters father Matthew Rose of Sandown and her brother Billy Garon of Rochester, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father, Donald Burleigh; her maternal grandparents, Rita and Roger Lacroix; and her paternal grandparents, Gerald and Hazel Burleigh.
A graveside service with immediate family will be held on Wednesday April 20th, at 11:30 a.m. at Mt Calvary Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her father.
