Sharon Irene (Vickers) Bluhm

Sharon Irene (Vickers) Bluhm, 82, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2023 at The Golden Crest in Franklin, NH. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 29, 1941 and was married to the love of her life, Donald Paul Bluhm, for 43 years who predeceased her death in 2003. Her oldest son, David, also predeceased her. She is survived by her brother, Carl Vickers of Palos Hills, IL, and sister, Susan Ronan of Coronado, CA, as well as two sons, Stephen & Michael Bluhm, their wives, three granddaughters, and two grandsons.

Sharon was a registered nurse who moved to New Hampshire in 1985, eventually settling in Auburn. She attended church regularly at Longmeadow Congregational Church and was active in both the choir and bell ringing. She volunteered extensively at Griffin Free Public Library and frequently traveled domestically and internationally during retirement. She loved to read, go to the movies, visit with friends, garden, and walk. She was a dear friend to many and will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sharon resided at the Golden Crest in Franklin, NH for the past 3-½ years and was well cared for and loved by all the staff.

Services will be held privately.
