Sheila J. Darling, age 79, of Londonderry, NH passed away peacefully at the Community Hospice House after a multitude of lengthy illnesses. Born in Auburn, MA to the late Vernon and Marguerite Uppstrom, Sheila faithfully served the Veterans Administration in Manchester as a Licensed Practicing Nurse for over 25 years until her retirement in 2007.
Sheila had immense passion and loyalty to her family and friends. She looked forward to her daily conversations with her sisters, Sandra and Sharon, as well as weekend visits accompanied by their husbands, David and Jimmy. To the end, she inquired about her wonderful and supportive friends, Kathy Pigeon and Barbara Churchill. During the last 22 years her five grandchildren provided her with tremendous joy and endless love. She will be missed by them immensely.
She is survived by her sisters and brothers in law, Sandra and David Austin and Sharon and Jimmy LaMountain; her devoted son and daughter in law, Todd and Marla Darling; her son in law, Jim Dolliver; and her five grandchildren: Jordan and Casey Dolliver, Jack, Ian and Miles Darling. In 2015, she lost her beloved daughter, Robyn Dolliver, an event that tested her faith but never diminished it.
ARRANGEMENTS: The family will conduct a private ceremony in late spring/early summer and will notify all friends and family.
