Obituary for Sheila Ann Littlefield (Sargent)
Sheila Ann Littlefield (Sargent), 75, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, with family by her side. Born on August 5, 1950, Sheila grew up with seven other siblings in Weare, NH, before marrying Norman Littlefield Sr. on October 19, 1974 and moving to the Mount Washington Valley area, where she would raise her own family of four boys.
Sheila’s life was devoted to her family and truly loved and gave graciously to each and every one of them. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and loved watching her kids and grandkids open their gifts. She was passionate about her Red Sox and Patriots, even messaged some of her favorite players on social media. She loved her large collection of stuffed animals, bells, and spoons, and enjoyed displaying her collection of family photos. Sheila spent much of her career in customer service and always greeted her clients with a kind voice and a warm smile.
She leaves behind her husband of fifty-one years, Norman Littlefield Sr. Her sons; Rick Littlefield of Tamworth, NH, Jeff Littlefield and wife Dawna Littlefield of Ossipee, NH, Norman Littlefield Jr. and wife Angel Littlefield of Meredith, NH, and Dana LIttlefield and partner Rhianon Swan of Tamworth, NH. She also leaves behind her many grandkids; Mercedes Cole, Jade Littlefield, Jeffrey Littlefield, Morgan Littlefield, Megan Littlefield, Trenton Littlefield, Elijah Littlefield, and Cassidy Littlefield, along with five great grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother Preston and wife Carol Sargent and family from Conway, NH, her sister Linda and husband Phil Vallee and family from Milo, ME, and her sister Brenda Sweeney and family from Brunswick, ME. She was predeceased by her mother Velma and stepfather Richard Perkins Sr. from Weare, NH, her father Arthur F. Sargent from Henniker, NH, her oldest brother Peter Sargent from Conway, NH, her brother Jeff Sargent from Goffstown, NH, her sister Mique Foote of Dunnellon, FL, and her youngest brother Richard Perkins Jr. from Weare, NH.
A service to celebrate Sheila’s life will be held be held in the Spring. Sheila will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
