Reverend Sheridan Robbins, 75, of 109 Old New Ipswich Road, Rindge, NH, died at his home on May 5, 2003. He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on February 13, 1928, the son of Jack Clark and Mildred (Ploughe) Robbins and has been a resident of Rindge for many years. He graduated from McCormick Seminary in Chicago, Illinois in 1953. He was a Presbytarian Minister for the First Presbytarian Church of Astoria in Astoria Queens, New York until his retirement in 1988. He was interested in artistry, painting and was an avid reader. Family members include his wife Charlene (Nederveld) Robbins of Rindge, a son, Paul S. Robbins of Sebastopol, California, four daughters, Mary C. McLaughlin of S. Euclid, Ohio, Marti Francis of Gredey, Colorado, Megan Gibson of LaMirada, California and Sara Ann Eno of Dracut, Massachusetts, 13 grandchildren, a sister Marian McCarty of Tulsa, Olklahoma, one nephew, two nieces and several cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to a Memorial Service on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Bedford Presbytarian Church, 4 Church Street, Bedford, NH 03110. Donations may be made to the Hampshire Country School Scholarship Fund, 122 Hampshire Road, Rindge, NH 03461.
