Shirley June (O'Brien) Belcourt, 71, of Nashua, NH, passed through the gates of Heaven, into the loving arms of Jesus and her loved ones who passed away before her on September 21, 2020, after a long courageous battle with the after math of pneumonia due to Covid-19.
Shirley, was the oldest child of four, born on June 26, 1949, in Manchester, NH to the late Charles and Dorothy (Hamel) O'Brien. She was a full-time mother and a retired Industrial Worker.
She had the voice of an angel that would make an audience silent as she sang, her dancing would clear a dance floor, as all the dancers were amazed. Her poems came from deep within her heart from experiences that passed along her way. She had the creativity of a saint with anything she made, her humor would fill a room with laughter each and every day, she had a heart of gold and anyone who came across her path would say, what a beautiful spirit she had, no matter what came her way. As she herself once said, "I'm not going to say goodbye =K, however I will say have a great journey, I don't believe that death is the end."
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Donna Wentworth and her spouse, George M. of Hillsboro, Karen E. Sysyn and her spouse, Kathy A. of Londonderry and Jason Belcourt and his spouse, Eduardo Vargas-Belcourt, of Nashua; five grandchildren: Whitley Belcourt of Manchester, Jalen Bernard of Cambridge, MA, Geonna and Trinity Wentworth, both of Hillsboro, and Elijah Vargas-Belcourt of Nashua. Shirley is also lovingly remembered by her three sisters, Janice Jenson, of San Tan Valley, AZ, Debbie Russo, of Derry and Lisa Melvin, of Tacoma, WA, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Special thanks to all the staff members that cared for our mother at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
