Stanley E. Joubert, 78, of Tilton passed away peacefully December 4th following a period of declining health.
Stanley was born in Worcester, MA December 22, 1934, the son of the late Stanley E. Joubert, Sr. and Pearl Olive (Gwilliam) Pytel. He was raised in the Worcester area and graduated from Shrewsbury High School.
Stan was a lifelong mechanic, working primarily on school busses and tour busses. He was incredibly handy and was able to fix almost anything. He loved working with his hands, whether it be crafting and painting small wooden houses or painting watercolor pictures of lighthouses, landscapes and still life scenes. He was a kind man with unique ways of showing his affection, but mainly, he was just Stan.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Pauline N. Joubert; his children, Randall Joubert, Darby Joubert, Stephanie Alves and Tobey Brinkmann; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Joubert.
An hour of gathering will take place Saturday, December 14th at 10:00am at the chapel of The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King Street in Boscawen. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stan's memory may be made to any local charity of one's choice and would be greatly appreciated by organizations such as the NH Food Bank or Salvation Army.
