Stanley Witham

Stanley C. Witham, 86, of 360 Electric Avenue, Fitchburg, MA died on January 10, 2002 at U Mass Memorial Health Alliance in Leominster, MA after a brief illness. Mr. Witham was born on October 6, 1915 in Montpelier, Vermont the son of the late Ralph and Hattie (Schettle) Witham. He retired from Hampshire Manufacturing after ten years of service in the maintenance department. Family members include; two daughters, Barbara McGrath of Londonderry, NH and Cheryl Munroe of Milford, NH; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Philip Witham of Travelers Rest, SC; two sisters, Alva Minor of Leominster, MA and Norma Amdsen of Bristol, CT; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Anna (Kelly) Witham in 1973 and by a daughter, Lillian Witham. A Memorial Reception will be held on Monday, January 14th from 4:00 until 5:00 PM with a Memorail Service at 5:00 PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire (an affiliate of Phaneuf Funeral Home), 243 Hanover Street, Manchester.
