Stephanie Christine Adams 74, of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 23, 1951, in Boston, Massachusetts, she lived a life marked by faith, intelligence, compassion, laughter, and unwavering love for those closest to her.
Stephanie was the beloved daughter of Robert and Berta Adams and the cherished sister of George Adams and Charlotte Forbes, who preceded her in death. Stephanie leaves behind her two daughters, Deidra Silk, and Jamie Adams who were by her side everyday until her last. She also leaves behind 2 granddaughters, Ariana and Adalyn Silk.
Stephanie enjoyed a successful career as a software engineer, where her intelligence, determination, and problem-solving abilities earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. She approached every challenge with grace and confidence, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to work alongside her.
Outside of her career, Stephanie embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved playing the piano, reading, staying active through exercise, and faithfully attending church. Music was woven into the fabric of her life. She loved harmonizing with others, sang in her high school glee club, and found great joy singing in church choir.
She also held a special place in her heart for Berkeley and the San Francisco Bay Area, places that brought her happiness and treasured memories. She never turned down a Ramous Fizz.
Stephanie will be remembered for her sharp wit, playful sarcasm, remarkable intelligence, deep compassion, and generous spirit. Her faith was the foundation of her life. Psalm 91:4 was especially meaningful to her and remains a reminder of the peace and protection she found in God's promises.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we are comforted knowing that her love, faith, and legacy will continue to live on in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of Stephanie's life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Church in Hudson, New Hampshire. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather to honor her life, share memories, and celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
"He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." — Psalm 91:4
