Stephanie G. Reed

Stephanie (Sharp) Eger Reed, age 80, passed away, following a period of declining health, on December 23, 2017, peacefully at her home in Milford, NH, surrounded by her loved ones. Stephanie was born, October 16, 1937 in Missouri, to her late father and mother, Richard and Virginia (Kennedy) Sharp. She grew up in Gross Pointe, MI, and earned a BA in Philosophy at Michigan University.

She is predeceased by her ex-husband, William H. Eger and her husband of 30 years, Robert K. Reed. She is survived by her son, Richard T. Eger and his companion Nicole Kingsbury of Manchester, NH, her daughter Alison M. Eger, and her companion Russell Riccio of Manchester, her daughter Emilie L. Cassidy and her son in law Paul Cassidy of Mont Vernon, three grandsons, Joshua Eger, Jack Cassidy, and Max Cassidy, nephew Douglas Eger, niece-in-law, Susan Eger and great niece Maddie Eger, and beloved dogs, Loui and Molly, and cat, Archie.

Stephanie worked tirelessly for Nashua District Court as a dedicated Juvenile Service Supervisor for twenty-five years, until her retirement in 2001.
She loved to spend time with her beloved pets, family and friends. A former gardening enthusiast, avid reader, die hard chocolate lover, and an animal lover through and through.

She was always available to lend an ear, and follow with heartfelt advice. She had an incredible way of making people feel so loved and appreciated. She was larger than life, but always kept herself humbled. Her wonderful smile, fantastic sense of humor, and her caring ways will be missed immensely.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Stephanie's honor to Second Chance Animal Rescue PR www.scarpr.org, where she adopted her beloved shitzu Molly, who gave her so much comfort and happiness until the very end.
